Hi, I'm Mike!
I was born in 1985, in the greater area of Seattle. Around the age of two, my mother Kathy, father Mike, older brother Kris, and I moved to the little town of Boise. I spent my childhood in the treasure valley of southern Idaho, and graduated from Kuna High School in 2003. Within a few short months of graduating, I had the desire to serve my country and joined the United States Marine Corps.
I served as an active duty Field Radio Operator and Communications Security Manager for four years, two of which were in Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. After my active duty, I spent my inactive reserve time going to school and working numerous miscellaneous part time jobs.
In 2009, I began my college career at Boise State University to pursue a BA in Media Arts, emphasizing in Media Production. While in college, I also worked part-time for a local radio broadcasting company, involving various duties in promotions, production, programming, audio engineering, and on-air personality. However, after almost 5 years in the radio industry, I felt it was the right time to pursue my life long dream of becoming a freelance photographer and independent filmmaker.
Currently, I live in Boise, ID. The place I've called my home for the past 30+ years. Everyday I work to build my business from the ground up, and continue to grow in my profession to be the best communicator I can be. It is my mission in life to learn all I can about the universe and mankind, and share the stories they contain. While teaching others to see things in a different, yet beautiful way, in hopes to inspire a positive change for the world.
I consider myself a very spiritual person, and thank God every day for the amazing gifts he has blessed upon my life. As well as all the incredible people and experiences that have come my way, both good and bad.
